Over the past few years, Jay has litigated approximately 50 jury trials, hundreds of preliminary examinations, seemingly thousands of motions to suppress evidence or dismiss charges, and obtained some astounding results for his clients including this very, very small sampling:

• A dismissal of a 2-count attempted murder gang case where the client was facing 48 years to life in prison.
• A dismissal of a rape/torture/kidnapping case where the client was facing over seventy years to life in prison.
• A determinate sentence was recently obtained without the need for trial on a first degree murder charge where the prosecution was seeking 50 years to life in prison.
• A plea to a single count of assault with a deadly weapon, with a grant of probation, reduced from multiple counts of attempted murder.
• A hung jury and subsequent complete dismissal on a case involving residential robbery, residential burglary, assault with a deadly weapon and criminal threats.
• A not guilty jury verdict on a case where his client was accused of throwing a hammer through the window of another car while driving down the freeway.
• Numerous not guilty verdicts on cases involving the possession, sales or use of drugs.
• Numerous not guilty verdicts or hung juries on cases involving driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
